Kinnoull Hill and Deuchny Wood Loop
Walking Route
Kinnoull Hill dominated the landscape around Perth and makes for a great area for walkers, with wide paths available.
This loop starts in Perth and is walkable from the train station, but can also be accessed by any of the car parks along the route, such as Jubiliee Car Park. Starting on Tay Street, the route first takes you through the outskirts of the city, past the Branklyn Gardens and onto Kinnoull Hill. From here, follow signs to the summit before continuing your walk towards Deuchny Wood via Binnhill Tower, an old observatory. Once through Deuchny Wood, follow the coronation path down towards Scone, before walking back into Perth to Tay Street.
