This peaceful, ambling riverside path is suitable for most abilities and has benches dotted along the riverbank.
It wanders past the 500-year-old Birnam Oak and under Thomas Telford’s Dunkeld Bridge. Across the River Tay, enjoy views of the magnificent mediaeval Dunkeld Cathedral. Can be started at any point of the route. Parking can be found nearby in Birnam or Dunkeld. Firm ground. Generally flat or gentle slopes. Pavement walking along main road. 3 ½ miles / 5.4km / Allow 1 ¾ hours Difficulty: Easy
