Standing on the site of the ancient Balloch Castle, the former seat of the Campbell Clan, Taymouth Castle is of c19th century, Neo-gothic design and displays some of the finest examples of 19th century craft. The interior is lavish in décor and its 450 acres of grounds are surrounded by stunning vistas of the Highland countryside. The Castle is a private residence, however it does offer events, visits and the opportunity to play golf and fish in its grounds.
