Laggan

Laggan is a village nestled in the Monadhliath and Grampian mountain ranges. The name Laggan comes from the Gaelic word for a 'little hollow'. Laggan is situated in peaceful countryside with an abundance of wildlife, from Golden Eagles and Ospreys to Red Deer and Pine Martin. Laggan was made famous as Glenbogle in the Monarch of the Glen TV series. The nearby Laggan Wolfrax mountain biking centre has kept Laggan on the map. Laggan is a great place to stay for walkers and mountain bikers.
