Clunie Memorial Arch
Dunkeld, Birnam & Aberfeldy, Pitlochry, Killiecrankie & Blair Atholl
Clunie Memorial Arch was built as a memorial to honour the men who died while working to bring power to the area in the late 1940s. The Arch measures 6.9m across and is the same width as the tunnel the men were building when the accident took place. The legacy of their work lives on in the now finished tunnel, which remains one of the largest water tunnels in the UK.
