The old packhorse bridge in Carrbridge in the Cairngorms National Park is the oldest stone bridge in the Highlands.. The bridge was built to so that funeral processions could cross the river to Duthil Church when it was full and fast flowing, Because of this, the bridge was known locally as 'the coffin bridge'
